| There's a really GOOD chromer called Progressive Plating out of Indy. Allen Williamson Jr. is the boss man. The number is 317-923-2413. They do really nice work. |

Just a single observation... my best friend had all the chrome done for his 57 plymouth belvedere at bumperboys and it was absolutely terrible. He had every chrome piece re-done from the radio knobs to the trim. He also paid them to polish all the aluminum and stainless trim. $3500, three months, and it was terrible. Chrome was discolored or peeling, they chromed right over pitted parts without repairing first, the aluminum had apparently been just dipped and not polished, and the stainless had been bent and repaired. Looked like someone stepped on it.
It was bad enough he returned with a lawyer and a camera.
It could have been a one-time accident, but it was enough to make me shop around. |
